The Okotoks Film Festival will once again be partnering with Shorts HD and Magnolia Pictures to bring a unique experience and program to Okotoks. For the second year in a row, enjoy both the animated and live action Oscar nominated short films right before the 2018 Academy Awards. See the very best in cinema with these snippets of stories. Presented in two packages of shorts enjoy both the live action and animated shorts in one night or spread it over the Two days. A perennial hit with audiences around the country and the world, don’t miss this year’s selection of shorts. The Academy Awards take place Sunday, March 4th.

Don’t forget to take your guess at which films will win the Oscar. Those who guess correctly will be entered into a draw where we will be giving away passes to the second Okotoks Film Festival, June 8-10th 2018. Draw will be held on March 5th.

Tickets are $15 to see either the live action films or the animated films. Passes to see all the films are $25. See the films either all in one night or come back both nights at the same time.

February 23rd:
6:00 pm - Animated Short Films
8:30 pm - Live Action Short Films

February 24th:
6:00pm - Live Action Short Films
8:30pm - Animated Short Films

Films will be announced closer to the date of the screening.

PLEASE NOTE: Animated films are not ALWAYS appropriate for children. While most films are family friendly we advise parental dicression for some films. Any film with inappropriate content will be screened at the end of the package and a warning will be given prior to the film playing.
